Cobalt is correct about "expectations". I went thru this with my builder recently when my addition was being built. I expect perfection and he was constantly cutting corners!. He was used to customers being satisfied with that. Whenever I questioned something he would say "that's an extra" or "you didn't tell me you wanted a custom job". I didn't specify in writing every detail because I "assumed" it would get done. It all worked out in the end but it was a very frustrating experience that should be coming to a close shortly. All I can say is try to get things specified up front in writing. By the way, my builder tried to wiggle out of several things along the way by saying" I don't remember saying that". Sorry for the long post. Glad to hear Tony and Ken got it worked out!
