Re: Dropmembered trucks

Hey dm guys I'm missing out on this awesome thread. Does anyone know how to upload pictures from iPhone to this website? Or is it even possible? I would like to share my dm truck. I would like to start build thread also. Have thousands of pictures. I know pictures are like gold on here. Truck is on nates website (Erics GMC) truck has come along ways since those pictures. Guess I could ask Nate if do a build thread on his site. Lol!

Re: Dropmembered trucks

Here is mine, been driving it for a few weeks now, I purposely left the drive train and front clip on it while doing the dropmeber so it wouldn't escalate into another unfinished personal project.

It's 90% bolt in.....the only welding/cutting you have to do is for the rack notches.......the tranny hump is not as bad as it sounds, you basically cut the small hump out, lay the high hump on top, mark the bolt holes and bolt it in. They make carpet kits for high hump floors so it will look factory.....

Here's a picture of my floor with a high hump installed....

There is a nice groove on the hump but I don't know to be honest with you......I'm going to use a nice bead of silicone or seam sealer on mine.

Building a small, high rpm engine with the perfect bore, stroke and rod ratio is very impressive.

I'm not ashamed of my Mini-Truckin past......My 86 Mazda "Subtle Approach" hit Trucking in 89 or 90 (it's been a long time) and then it was in a couple overseas. Why did we all name our trucks back then?.....wait, I still name mine

I've only owned one import/mini-truck & that was because I had to.... . I guess I missed that phase 'cause I was into lowered Camaro's & Malibu's.

Oops, I forgot about the S10 blazer me & my X had during our year (or so) of wedded bliss. 93, 4.3/700r4, dropped & ralleys. Looked alot like your little truck but white. Technically it was her truck w/my adjustments .

Sorry for getting this 'off topic'.
