Thanks for all the info guys. Here is the final result. As i mentioned, the rear seat brackets look a little different, but still original i am guessing. Learning more about the 73-87s all the time...

Eric, just a guess but perhaps 1 tons were more likely to have hydroboost.

The high back truck buckets are the very same buckets used in the K5 until '85 or '86, just the mounting brackets are different.

And high back buckets are still bucket seats after all. Worth getting, IMHO.

X2........ Although the demand for high back buckets is not as high as the low backs, they are still bucket seats and still factory. I can't seem to get get rid of mine though or trade them.......lol
