Sonnax pinless accumulator pistons

I'm installing a Trans Go 700 kit into my 700r4 because of a stuck TV valve situation (long hard 1-2 shift, broken 1-2 accum. spring). Will using the Sonnax pinless pistons affect the kit's performance? Not sure how much milage is on the trans., as I've recently bought my truck ('89 1500 2wd), and the trans has boneyard markings on it. Pan was clean of debris when I pulled it off (light clutch dust sediment, but no pieces of anything). Thanks
