I am the 3rd owner of the sub. It is from phoenix, az and was kept up very nicely. I found this sub on ebay actually.

I am selling the other set of wheels that were on it. If interested youcan pm or email me for more info. They are actually sitting in the back of the burb still.

More cool pictures!! Thanks... Now my next question, it seems that the suburbans that are 1969-1972, that have a white top, also have metal trim from driver door, around the back, up to the pass door. Did that start in 69, or has anyong seem this trim on the 67 and 68 as well??? Also, how is that trim held on?

Suburban questions

Hi John
I recently purchased a suburban and like you had alot of questions that I was curious about. If you contact "Ricks Pickup Parts" You can purchase an assembly manual for 25 dollars. It shows exploded views and most all the info you will need for your Suburban. Also alot of the best deals you can find anywhere just for being a member of this site.ask about them when you call. Good Luck on your truck!By the way. Those chrome strips are held on with clips and I have never seen them on a 67-68

My project

This is my project i've had for about a year. Right now I'm tearing it down for an engine, suspension, and chassis rebuild. I will be bagging it while it's down as well as shaving the firewall and refinishing. I have already installed Avalanche taillights and PT Cruiser door handles. I've got the new quarter patches on the way. My plan is to have the new motor in/dresses ot in billet, firewall shaved and painted, airbags installed, and body in-primer for Showfest '04 in Greenville, MS May 14-16. Wish me luck. My pics are too big to post so to see it please go to http://www.cardomain.com/memberpage/489596

Change in plans for my project

I had planned to paint my suburban House of Kolor Royal blue flake w/ lime green flames, but now I have decided I want a real clean streetrod look so I'm going to paint it '98 Volvo Saffron Metallic. Please check out my cardomain page and tell me what u think. I would post pics on here but they are all too big.

Nice Burb Smokekiki

Very sharp Smoke. Is that a 72? I like to roof rack. Looks like a later year 'adapted'? What size are the tires? Sorry. I'm full of questions today.

Hmm, it has different side markers than mine. Are those from a different year, or did they just use different ones on some?

No such thing as a one ton 4x4 till 76. 76 was the first year the D60 front was used. If it was a 74 axle then it was a D44. Does it have King pins or ball joints?

I'll trade you a 88 454 fairly well option rust free burb with 82k for it.

Some shots of my new 67 3/4 4x4...

Hi All, I have been doing some little things to it since I got it last month. (one new tow hook, replaced the painted headlight buckects and grille trim, replacing window regulators, etc...) I still need to get the bumpers straightened or replaced. I am digging this rig, playing around with 4x4, scaring little ricers, ect....

What do you guys make of the Option List??? Wierd stuff listed....

Hate to break it to you, but no suburbans came with those markers between '67-72. They did on pickups starting in '69, but not the 'burbs. They have been changed out at some time.

You can even look at the original package contents of a custom deluxe and you'll see that the fancy side marker lights aren't part of the package.

The lights interchange, and I think they make it look nicer...
