Re: my 68

Would you want to get rid of that air cleaner, separate from the engine? Good luck on the build.

Re: my 68

Nice truck. That looks like the saddle color not 50th color combo.

You might not want to use those front tires shown in the first tear-down pictures. I don't think they'd be very safe.

so you like my unsafe tires..i picked up the truck on a trailer, when i tryed to unload the truck i had to pump over 80 lbs of air in the front tires so they wouldnt hit the side rails of the trailer.the next day it was 100 degrees outside . i was at work.my next door neighbor called me and said something blew up at my house...i called home and my son said the f-----n tire blew up.he was in the garage.it scared the **** out of him....you think i should of took out the air ?

Re: my 68

just came home from rotator cuff PT .thinking about putting in a 49-52 chevy gas tank.it is 27 1/2 wide by 19 1/2 & 7 1/2 inches deep ...will sit only 3 1/4 inches below the frame..oh ya it hold's 15 gallons of fuel..it should fit up in between the frame rails..with a little work..
