Hope ya'll don't mind

I've been a member/lurker for a while, thought I.d speak up. I'm a Ford driver!! I came here because all the Ford truck forums are full of "rivet counters/gotta have the right bolt or else" bunch and I,m not. Use to own a 70 Chevy long bed that I was going to hot rod, but once I started tear down I found I had bought a truck that had been butchered with a half cab replacement. Traded for the Ford!!! Look forward to having a good time here.

Re: Hope ya'll don't mind

well, everyone probably has a ford story..

folks bought this '86 F250 XLT Lariat custom ordered from ClaCoMo Ford plant in KC..

manual locks and windows stick in mind, carb'd 460 4wd 4.10 gears, posi, etc..

slowly rusting away like any respectable Chevy would do there, and still up to task any time - any place..

hauls 425 gallons of water [8.3 x 425 = 3600 lbs] or more to the neck of the tank no worries..

btw, that driveway is sloped to the drain, truck sits barely under level fully loaded

and just like the Chevy's we've owned there, never missed a day of work in its life
