Electrical problem

Hello,
I'm restoring a 72 GMC 2500. I installed all new original wiring. When I turn on the headlights it kills the turn signals and vise versa. I thought it was a ground problem so I cleaned all ground contacts and re-installed with no success. I installed a new light switch and still no change. Does anyone out there have any suggestions?
Thanks

Re: Electrical problem

Where did the new wiring come from? What brand name?

Re: Electrical problem

Bought it in Canada, from a local supplier, was OEM. Figured out the problem, I installed LED lights and with no resistance the original wiring thought the tail lights were burnt out. I installed some inline resistor's and everything is good. Thanks
