Looks good so far. I am doing the same build right now, but I am a little ahead of you. Check out my build thread. I tried to be specific about the parts that I used hoping that I could help out the next guy. Good luck.

Love the look of the smooth cab. I wish the cab I had in my garage looked that good!

Re: Started my first frame off - 72 SWB LS1, 6-spd manual

making a little progress -I bolted in the engine and transmission where I want it. I installed the notch kit into the frame. machined both front rotors to fit the Boss 338's 20x10 rears and 18x8's up front.

This is a great looking project! Looks like a bonafied frame off. You might want to have the thread moved to the build and project section. Subscribed.

This is my buddy's Sand Car engine. Trading labor; I am rebuilding his transmission, and he will powder coat my frame. Check out Powdercoatingplus here in Vegas..

I used to live 5 miles from APEX when I lived in Vegas... I am positive I have seen this thing either there or dumont the few times i went. If it is infact the same one, this thing is intimating as all hell, haha.

Re: Started my first frame off - 72 SWB LS1, 6-spd manual

I couldn't help but notice the longer studs up front on your rotor. I assume you are running a thin spacer behind your front wheels? Is this how you got your Boss center caps to fit on there without cutting the spindle shaft and dust cover? I'm pretty familiar with the 338 mods required on the rotorsHere.

very nice! i like how you turned down your rotor hub to fit the wheel instead of going the wheel spacer route.
