Just replaced my transmission

As the title mentions , just had my transmission rebuild after it poped n grinded on me

Now with the transmission intalled , it seems to start in second

What can be causing this and how can it be fixed or repaired ?

Ps , fotos that are attached is what i replaced w the pop n grinding effects at what it had

Are you sure it's starting in 2nd and not 3rd gear.
Failsafe defaults to 3rd gear.

Pull the plug and check that you have ignition hot and ground on the proper pins.
