Re: I am getting excited about my Panel!!

It's been a while since I posted some progress pics of my Panel. I have a lot on my plate with our new products coming out, parts sales, new product development and trying to squeeze in some Panel love time... That's why it is such a set back when you get a product that doesn't function as it should. I am of coarse talking about the Eddie Motorsports hood hinges I purchased for my Panel. They didn't work as I felt they should with either the heavy or light duty struts so I sent them back. After doing a lot of research and watching a few videos I decided to try American Billet hinges. Wow what a difference!! The hood opens up all the way and stays open! Doesn't drop a bit. Matter of fact it seems to have a detente to keep it open. It closes nice without having to force it!! I will be looking into carrying their line of hinges for a new product to offer. Anyway here are a few pictures to show you how it's coming along. WES

Re: I am getting excited about my Panel!!

We made a little more progress. We decided not to use the red hood because it had some hidden issues that would cause us way more headaches. Back to the old hood. We managed to fix the oil can effect so I settled with it. Good news part was it fit better than the red hood, so that was a bonus. We also got the grill fitted. First time in over 15 years that I have seen it with a grill! I fell back in love with it... These are exciting times for me, it will be sad to see it blown apart to start the priming and painting. I think I am going to pull it off it's chassis and have it powder coated while it is apart. I can also fit the engine and transmission easier that way. WES
