Re: Brave or crazy? crewcab build

There is no question you have courage, most guys wouldnt attempt this without years of fabricating experience.
Just one question though, is it liquid courage?

You and the guys definitely make doing a crewcab conversion easy, not that it is easy I'm sure, but you sure make it look that way. Nice work.

Re: Brave or crazy? crewcab build

Made some progress on the roof, I cut it where it was overlaping in the rear
and butt welded it. I had to add brace on the inside to support it so it would keep the correct shape. I added 3 inches to the orignal brace and tucked it
as high as possible, still have one more to do.

Very cool. As good as you are at this, you ought to knock these out and sell them to us no-fabbing types.

Not sure how long its going to be. It looks like the wheel base is going to be abuot 10 inches longer than a longbed but overall lengeth will only be about 2 inches longer because of the shortbed. This is just some rough math I could way off!
