Re: Trucks in the Wild

Ryan50, here's a thread that will help you with your image rotation issue http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=743225.

I assume that you are using an iPhone (or other Apple device) to take your pictures. If so, here's how to insure that any picture you take in the future will be right-side-up when you post it.

The home button must be in your right hand not your left (or at the bottom) when taking a photo.

There are a couple of restaurants in our city that have trucks like this out front as advertisement. I'll snap some pics and post 'em up!

Re: Trucks in the Wild

Caught this one yesterday. As I was pulling away the lady who owns it came out and got all excited about my Burban and wanted to talk, but her Harley/crack head man was not happy about that. So I left pronto as they were arguing about it. The back was crammed full of scrap metal. The canoe on top was chock full of stuff too. Later on that night I saw it driving down the road and surprisingly it sounded pretty good.

Re: Trucks in the Wild

I'm pretty sure this is a second sighting. First one is post 154. Poor old girl is just about done for. Although it looks as if the trailer tongue has failed.
Sorry about the photo quality. The wind was howling.

What a mess! The cab over part of the camper shell is cab onto, and the tongue on the trailer, as you have noted, has failed. I have a load equalizing hitch on my truck that makes it so that the rear is actually higher when towing, to transfer some weight onto the front springs. This truck doesn't have that, plus it looks a bit overloaded with all the stuff on the roofs and who knows what else inside.

I think there may be some more serious events from looking at the pictures. This is clearly a 3 bedroom home masquerading as a Classic Chevy truck with a camper and a trailer. I feel bad for all parties involved including the truck.
