Question WIW 85 C-10 LWB 2WD N. Carolina truck.

I brought a C-10 custom deluxe 85 2wd long bed truck from pal in N. Carolina.
Truck has 4.3 v6 auto shows 68000 miles.
Factory paint.
Under hood looks all original.
Motor runs great, shifts great.
It's about rust free. Little spot pass. door by moulding.
Driver door and fender little buggered up, where someone backed into something with door open.
Couple small dents -n- dings.
Dash pad cracked. some idiot cut radio opening for stereo.
Frame rails great still factory black, great rockers, cab -n- mounts, bed, wheel wells. tail gate. a/c don't work compressor froze up. all idiot lights work.
The reason I'm thinking of selling I just got 84 C-10 4wd.
Trying to decide if I want sell or swap body.
Hate to think about taking off such clean running gear.
ALSO..................
My bride's telling me I have to many toys.

Re: WIW 85 C-10 LWB 2WD N. Carolina truck.

Some of the board members may know better than me, but i was under the impression that in '85, the only 6 you could get was an inline 6. If that is the case, someone retrofitted the 4.3 (does it still have the smog stickers on the front of the core support, --those list what engine it had originally)
But i could be wrong -- condition of the body is much more important than motor condition on a truck that old anyway to most people.

Indiana is smack-dab in the middle of the rust belt, so if it is pretty clean, then that adds value ---- but without seeing a picture, i would guess maybe 2k

Pictures tell us more

Welcome to the boards btw
