Re: Static lowering a '65 C10 longbed
I dont have direct Jeep spring experience, but this is what I have read and heard from friends. Jeep springs are too light duty, they will lower your truck but they are soft and will bounce a lot and wont carry ANY load
Since the springs are relatively inexpensive, I mean the ones for dropping our trucks, I would suggest to get some of those. You will need shocks and an adjustable pan hard bar if going lower than a few inches. Bags will give you the best ride, ability to tow also, you can bag all 4 or just the rear. A vendor here on the forum can get you a great deal and tell you specifics for spring rate and such if you need that. Good luck and Welcome to the forum! Merry Christmas Yall!
