Fuel line
Just wondering what people are doing for replacing the steel line from tank to pump. I’ve got stainless steel brake lines, just haven’t run across anybody doing the fuel line yet. DIY I guess? Thanks

I've always just made them myself. Quicker than waiting for the mail only to have them arrive bent in the wrong direction to fit in the box

Inline tube has nice stuff and it's stainless. I have used them for my Squarebody Suburban before.

Thanks for the input. My brake lines came from inline tube, but they have a weird online catalog and I wasn’t able to find a fuel line. Maybe I’ll call. And I know some of the new diy stuff comes in rolls that’s easy to work with…

The newer easy bend line is called Ni-Copp. It is a Nickle Copper composition that bends and flares easy and won't rust. I think most of the auto supply stores carry it now. I buy the rolls and make up what I need for brake and fuel lines. When you buy it be careful. There are a lot of lookalikes that say Iron-Copper. You don't want that, make sure it says Nickel Copper. On my 67 it appears GM used the same line as a pickup truck from the pump back to just under the back of the front seat. Then there is a 4-6 inch long jumper hose connecting to the steel line to the rear. You may only have to fabricate the rear section of the line.

How about that, I see that jumper hose, and now I remember a ‘72 I used to have had it too. I guess it’s like everything with these trucks. It’s just like the pickup—except when it’s not. Another great tip. Thanks.
