Re: Random Photos ‘You took’
Mine was one of those deals- the first time, I used that as my commuter and didn't have a truck. The second time I didn't want to make a 36 mile round trip for the pipe. I use the truck for that stuff, now.

Re: Random Photos ‘You took’
Some people will do the dangdest things. I tell you what.
Years ago at the lumber yard we had a customer come in and bought 6 sq of shingles and a few little things. He was in a car and I guess the trunk was too full of stuff so he instructed the load puller to stack them on top of the trunk lid. I kid you not! The guy left there with packs of shingles on top of the trunk lid and said it'd be alright, he wasn't going far. Not even a strap on it. I just shook my head in disbelief.. And there was the guy who bought 2 lifts of 5/8" sheetrock and it was loaded on his flatbed trailer. He said no straps necessary, wasn't going far. All of it slid off onto the pavement in the middle of the 4 lane intersection not 30 yards from our store, at noon on a Saturday. And that guy was a teacher at the local college at the time.

Re: Random Photos ‘You took’
Looks like it was new when the car was new.. Most excellent.
Changing up with some random photos from my friends tire shop I took while getting some new rubber. They're into vintage rallying. Very tempting. He just swapped the original V6 out of the Capri for the 302. More information on the Alcan and the wining 73 Capri. Scroll to the bottom and check out the 46 photos from the rally. https://www.hagerty.com/media/events...-winter-rally/ You've got till the 21st to get ready! The Alcan rally site with tons of links. https://www.alcan5000.com/

I love those little bangers
They didn't want their light covers back, too? Looking better all the time.

Re: Random Photos ‘You took’
I do too. The one not on the rack seems to live at the shop. There's two others that are daily drivers in the summer time. I see them fairly regularly. Ones a older two stoke version.

Re: Random Photos ‘You took’
[QUOTE=special-K;9286066]The '95 work truck I swapped in an earlier (like '92-ish) W/T series grille. Those are almost black. They have that mess grille work they call speed grille. But my '95 Suburban Cheyenne I did repaint the grille for the same reason. I used Rustoleum "Metallic" series Charcoal. Here are before and after pictures
Attachment 2335610 awesome, thanks Tim looks to be a very good match |

Re: Random Photos ‘You took’
Bad photo but I put a coat or more like 52 coats of polyurethane on the old patio bench today since it was warmer weather.

Re: Random Photos ‘You took’
Me too. Like every day for work. Then again, it is a 3/4 ton truck, after all . It's more truck than most pickups out there. At least it's used more as a truck than most. Crew cab short bed totally enclosed and secure that converts to a long bed
