Porterbuilt control arms on stock crossmember?

Does anyone have Porterbuilt control arms setup for coil springs and with the one inch forward option on the ball joints? On a stock crossmember? Seems like it would be comparable to the Hotchkis arms.

I just ordered mine for a stock crossmember with the ball joints moved forward 1" but mine are for airbags not coils. Like andrewmp6 said Nate will be able to answer all your questions. He's got great customer service and really helped me out on mine.

What specific information are you looking for?

The lower control arm is compatible with coil-springs or an air spring (for the coils we include a billet spring retainer that bolts onto the arm... it can be removed and bags can be used if desired).

On the factory front end we tested, the static castor was 2.6 degrees and through a total of 4 inches of travel (2 inches of compression (bump) and 2 inches of extension (droop) the most castor we saw was a whopping 2.72 degrees.

When running our forward arms, you will gain up to an additional 5 degrees of castor. If that's not enough, we can leave the upper arm in our "standard" dimension and combine it with the lower forward arm, and you will be able to gain another couple degrees.

We sell the arms as a pair, or can seperate them as well.

That's pretty much what i was looking for. From what i've read sounds like the extra castor really helps these trucks handle. Maybe tax time i can order a set. Thanks for the response.

You are correct, the extra castor makes a big difference.

Will I need to do any modifications to install these? I think I'm going to go with the cpp modular spindles, drop springs, and sway bar. Will the cpp sway bar work with the porterbuilt lowers? Just trying to make sure I have everything covered. Thanks in advance.

I have not installed a CPP sway bar, and am unsure of its dimensions. We have a sway bar that fits, and I also know the muscle bar will fit. Our bar is normally priced a little higher than CPPs, but we can make a package deal to where the difference is absorbed. The spindles and drop springs will fit just fine. We use a larger cross-shaft on the upper arm, and I have had a couple customers tell me they needed to slightly clearance the little gusset on the upper control arm mount portion of the coss-member. Not a big deal... but something to be aware of.
