Interchangeable parts

Hey guys this is my first time posting with a question and my first time posting at all. But I will give you a little background first I've got a 67 small window cab stepside pickup that I bought about a year ago for five hundred bucks. It wasn't in the best of shape but I thought it was a good deal for the price and I saved it from the crusher. I've done very little work other than pull the bed off and the front cap. So here comes my question my fenders are a little beat up and I've found pretty decent fenders on a gmc and was wondering if the fenders would fit on my '67. The gmc has no reflectors so it would look right on my '67 if they will fit. Thanks again guys for taking the time to look and helping me out!

Re: Interchangeable parts

So if a gmc pickup is lacking the fender reflector that means it is also a '67 like it would be if it were a Chevrolet?

Re: Interchangeable parts

Well it's got some pretty significant rust in certain panels that will have to be replaced. And I'm only 21 and in college so it's slow going. I do have some big plans though however. I'm still learning I recently got a new used mig welder that will come in handy when I replace those patch panels. It also got a pretty big sent in each fender but I've always liked these trucks and I plan to make her my own. Thanks for all the compliments and help so far guys!!

Re: Interchangeable parts

You lucky bastid! A good looking start, for a very cool truck. Getting the MIG welder, right off the bat, is probably the single best move, next to scoring this gem of a machine. As noted by others- get the fenders' then get and engine hoist. You could, end the misery before you start and sell me the thing for what you got in it.
