Salt contamination

Salt contamination. Most effective way to neutralize salt contamination is with dishwashing soap from an electric dishwasher. Since my retirement from the Industrial Coatings business I like to conduct tests on different products. What I found when I remove the panels from the salt fog cabinet , and they're not rinsed off they rust rapidly lying on the bench. When you paint over something contaminated with salt it's not going to go far. I hope this helps
