Cameo Question

Does anyone know if these rock guards came only on Cameo's? Or are they common to all 55-59's?

Re: Cameo Question

I am the third owner of my 59 fleetside, aquired in 1976. It did not come with the guards and there was no evidence of screw holes etc. that any were installed. Until the thread here last week I had never heard of them. I am going to look in the assembly manual and see if they show up in the Cameo RPO number section.

Re: Cameo Question

My 56 big window 3200 cab has them. They must have been a dealer option.

Re: Cameo Question

They do not show up in the cameo section or any other section of the assembly manual so they are probably a dealer option. Any one have any option brochure?

Re: Cameo Question

Two 57 small window trucks I've had came with those on and they looked original. Both trucks were originally 3200 series.

I just bought a 57 3100 big window today with all the custom cab trim in and out, but not a cameo, and it has them as well....

Re: Cameo Question

Thanks for all of the replies! I was hoping that they were a Cameo only item since I had them on mine!
