parts for sale

Ok, this is a short list for now but I will try to edit later.

2 headlight housings one is complete the other has the wires snipped $30 for both + shipping

2 headlight bezels $10 + shipping for both

hood latch panel $25 + shipping

hood latch panel with latch $30 + shipping

Instrument cluster. Not sure if it works, one of the gauges is broken, pitting on bezel. $5 + shipping.

I have a passenger door too for $35. Needs work, has some bondo (I believe to smooth out surface) will have to be picked up locally. Sorry.

1 drivers and 1 passenger metal door panels (both have minor rust and pitting on the inside but are almost perfect on the outside) $50 for both + shipping

1 small rear window (has some scratches). $25 + shipping.

2 windshields I will check the condition and give a price if asked. These may have to be pickup only.

I also have a hood from a 57. exterior is in decent shape the inside can use a sandblasting (has surface rust). $65 must be picked up.

I may have to charge a little extra for packaging but I will not charge more than the actual cost of packaging and shipment.

I will trade for parts for my 67 short step or fleetside.

I do have a PayPal account.

Hey Denny, I drive down to Philly alot.
I'll be down on Easter weekend. The only problem is that I'll be with the family in our pathfinder. If I could strap it securely to the roof rack then I could bring it down.
If you are interested i'll try to snap off some pics for you if you are interested.

Larry.

spencra,
Is the hood straight?
Could you shoot me some pics of the hood?
I should be able to drive to Philly on Sat. of Easter weekend.
I'm not too familiar with PA, is it easy to get to?

Thanks,

Denny

Hey Denny, the hood is over my brother-in-laws house but the last time I looked at it I remember the exterior of the hood appeared to be in pretty good condition with maybe a couple of minor repairable blemishes. The underside of the hood has rust but from what I remember it was mostly surface rust which should sandblast off ok. I'll try to pick the hood up this week and take some pics for you. I might be a little slow this week because I have a lot of school work so I'll try to get it as soon as possible.

Thanks,
Larry

I am interested in your small rear window glass. I have 56 that had a sliding rear window, I have removed it, and the opening has a slight curve, will your glass work on this cab?

The pictures below shows the small and big rear windows.
I believe spencra has the small window.
You mention that yours has a curve to it. Does yours look like one of these?

Big rear window:

Nice trucks Denny. You wouldn't happen to be parting with either of them would you?

Larry,

The ugly bottom one is mine.
The blue one I found on the net just to show a big back window.

Do ya need parts or a whole truck?

I might have some parts to swap for the hood if you need them?

I dont think you could pry the whole truck from my cold dead hands

Denny

Thanks Guy's for the information. I have the a small window like the second picture. My concern, is that I had a friend in the auto glass business look at my opening, he used a striaght edge and stated the opening has a slight curve, and that a flat glass would not work. He could be wrong, of course if it is flat I can get one cut local, however if not, I am still interested in your glass.

willys33, I was cleaning the glass yesterday and noticed that the glass does have a slight curve to it.
I will try to figure out a way to package this thing up so that it won't break in route.
PM me your mailing address so that I can get a quote for you on the shipping. I will probably have to charge a little extra for the packaging because of the fact that it is glass and will have to be special wrapped. I wouldn't think that it would be that much more but I can get a price for you.

Larry.

Hey Denny, I'll take you up on the parts offer. How about all of the parts starting from the front bumper all the way to the rear bumper.

Would that be below the frame or above the roof?

Larry,

Did you ever get the pics of the hood?
And did those parkway exits seem to be on your way?

I didn't pick the hood up yet but I'll try to get out there today.

As far as the exits go i'll have to run it through mapquest to see what would be the easiest.

Larry.

Larry, I looked on mapquest and if you come down the parkway from the north via the GSP to go to philly you will probably want to take I-195. Either way you go I can meet you on the parkway anywhere you want to get off.

Larry,

It still sais your in-box is full??? system glitch???
Check your sent messages too. You may have to clean those out as well.

It's no problem with the hood.
I don't plan to be in your neck of the woods any time soon.
I will see what I can find at the Englishtown swapmeet/show near here.

Thanks anyway,

Denny
