Long story short. Brand new grille and mechanic with belt scratched the outer grille frame!!! Any thoughts on removing scratches and polishing?

Re: Removing scratches on aluminum grille

If it is a factory grille, odds are it is coated with an anodizing agent and polishing can and will remove scratches, but cause a dulling effect later, that would not happoen if left alone.

I haven't found a solution to this either. If it was me... the shop would be buying me a new grill. Just sayin...
