What brand Trailblazer headers are these? I was looking at the Kooks.

Mine are Pacesetters. I would not spend the money for the Kooks headers. If you were going to spend that much you might as well buy the conversion headers. The reason for buying the pacesetters is that they are about 200 dollars cheaper then the swap headers.

The only reason I didn't consider the pacesetter was because I seen a thread where the guy had to clearance the drivers side of the frame down near the collector. It also appeared that the drivers side header angles towards the frame. Did you have these issues?

Yes I did have to trim some frame to get them to fit. I don't think it would matter if it was the Kooks or Pacesetters, seeing as they are both for the same vehicle. The headers do angle to the drivers side, this is due to most TB SS being all wheel drive. It allows clearance of the front drive shaft. I used them to save so money, and it didn't bother me to trim the frame to make them fit.

Re: My 68 5.3/4l60E swap

Well i decided to change the the intake on the truck for one that doesn't make a large vacuum leak. I went with the Edlebrock Pro Flow. Its an awesome piece. I am also in the process of having the trans rebuilt.

Hello Amr84ss, how did you set your fuel system by using that edelbrock intake? A breakdown would be nice. Can you use the stock injectors? Didn't he intake come with fuel rails. Inquiring minds want to know. Thanks in advance for the information. It looks nice.

If you look in the picture I have a T in the fuel line in the back of my previous set up. I am using a single fuel line set up, using a vette filter and regulator set up out back. I have the T feeding both rails.

On the new set up, the rails are sold separately. The rails use either ev1 or ev6 injectors. I don't think the stock truck injectors will fit. I think they are to tall.

My truck is in the shop getting the trans rebuilt, I can get more pictures if needed.

What spectre air intake kit did you use? Is it model/year specific to any vehicle?
