Re: My 70 barn find build. TONS of pics

Hell no It never does. This truck was supposed to be gloss white right now, with a fully finished interior, and 20s, and you see how that went. haha. But the satin paint is totally doable, And worth it.

Re: My 70 barn find build. TONS of pics

thanks for the comments guys. Well, i have good news and bad news...

Good news, I recently got my exhaust redone. dual Flowmaster 40 series with single inlet/dual outlet with 2 tips run out each side. It looks mean and had a nice growl to it.

bad news.. Notice i said "HAD a nice growl"? well, it no longer growls. I slung a rod in it last wednesday. total bummer. But, owell. ill just build it stronger.

Theres a saying I heard before, Old chevys never die, they just get tougher! well, thats my plan now. make it tougher.

Your truck is looking great! Sorry to hear about the engine! Find another SBC and keep it going. Then build your self a new engine so you can keep cruising the truck!

Hey yall. Its been awhile, I just got caught up in alot of other things, and my truck sat for a couple months with a bad timing chain.
anyways, I built a new motor for the 70.
350 4 bolt main, flat tops, 2.02 valves, heads shaved, 1103 cam, double roller chain, edelbrock performer intake, topped with a summit 600 cfm double pump. Here's pics. Enjoy
