Re: Pic Thread: Station Wagons
Thanks Tim.it's a neat old car.lots of fun to drive.i've had several wagons including a 66 impala 396/turbo 400 car that i had before this one.i sold and always regretted it so a friend in Georgia went looking and found me this one.i've had it now for 21 years and have thought about selling it the last year or 2,but i know i won't be happy with myself if i do.a wise lady(my mother) once said,'when you don't know what to do,don't do anything" so the wagon lives here and will for a long time i hope.i have also had 4 3/4 ton trucks and sold them all and not happy that i did so i finally found another, just bought it but it's in Utah and with the covid mess and the border between Canada and the U.S closed,i can't go get it.things will calm down hopefully by summer and we can get it or if i find a way,i'll have it hauled to friend's in Ohio or Maine,so that it won't be so far away, whenever it is that we can go get it.
take care.Greg |

thanks Jim,nice wagon.a buddy of mine has the Buick version of that car with a 4 speed in it.very nice.i don't dare inquire about it.i have my truck stuck in Utah and can't go get it with the covid mess, all i need a second vehicle held hostage?i may soon have to look into having the truck hauled to friend's in Ohio or Maine so that it's not so far away, whenever it is that we can go get it.it'll all work out.better days are coming,i hope.Greg

That is nice! There's more chrome on that back bumper than there is on every vehicle I own, though!

Re: Pic Thread: Station Wagons
Does anyone remember these? My step dad was in the Corvette club in Great Falls Montana and there was a ton of these in the club. Also a lot of them came down from Canada to attend the get togethers.

Re: Pic Thread: Station Wagons
I'll bet that is a nice car, but those are the worst pictures of a $75,000 car, I have ever seen.

Must be a British hearse for short people. Well, at least it looks like one!

Re: Pic Thread: Station Wagons
It's a movie car. From the movie "Harold and Maude" The kid in the movie drove a 59 Cadillac hearse and his mother sold it and bought him a XKE. He made a hearse out of it.
Weird movie. But I liked it.
