I still dont agree with a straight cut frame if all your going to do is weld the cut and add a small plate like most I have seen done via that method.
Whats being done here is a straight cut but has a significant amount of reinforcement on all sides and extends away from the cut adequately.

I never realized there are kits like this available, sure seems like a nice reinforcement.

I think this is the first kit (outside of the backhalf kits that Choppin Block has).
