Tie Rod Very Close to Cross Member

This is bugging me. I have much of the engine compartment disassembled to clean and paint. The suspension is tight and the truck drives very straight and true. I figured since I am this far in, may as well disassemble clean, paint and replace all the pivot points on the suspension even though they really don't need it. Looking at the assembly in its current state, the tie rod seems very close to the cross member. No rubbing, but it would not take much to be a problem. A review of the assembly manual indicates the assemble is correctly installed as far as I can tell. Am I being paranoid, or is the tie rod bends wrong, or pitman/idler arms too long?

That would be correct. They are all close.
