Wheel and brake set-up looks great!

With that outstanding natural patina, I certainly wouldn't paint it though. They only wear their original paint once. That is years and years of real character proudly displayed.

Thanks everyone! No real progress lately. Just waiting on some material to come in so I can run new brake lines. Also have been waiting to hear back on a 400 sbc

Was able to get some work done this weekend. Intake and carb are back on.
Bench bled the master, all the brake lines installed, and bled the entire system. The engine bay still needs a lot of work but it will do for now

Master Cyl looks great. That's the one I just received. I'm excited to install it

. Did your prop valve have 3 output ports? Looks like two front, 1 rear? Guess we don't have to do a splitter for the fronts of that's the case.

Yes sir. I ran the fronts separate. I the rear down the driver side frame rail and split it at the rear differential. So pretty much completely opposite from the factory lines ha ha

I have never actually been. My dad has always told me they are WAY over priced on everything. I usually stick with craigslist. But my parents live 5 minutes from that place. I do go to the drag strip often.

Looking real good. Subbed to keep an eye on things since my 14 year old stepson has his eye on this body style for his first rig. The kids got good taste.

We moved from our place in Sanger about 5 miles from the drag strip a few months ago. We still go quite a bit, but I miss being so close. I've also cruised through Memory Lane a few times. Interesting place. Also heard that they're pretty proud of their stuff, but don't have any experience buying from them.

Thanks! Sanger to Decatur how do you like it? Casa Torres has some good food in Decatur. I'm glad he want a older truck. It's not very common these days for the younger kids

I love this truck, it's really looking good. Engine turned out real nice! What did you use to paint the letters? Just freehand and a brush?

Thanks guys! Yes sir. I just used a small paint brush and did my best. It was a real pain in the ass. I do not have a steady hand lol

We were semi rural in Sanger and now officially in the sticks, and even though I still have to build a shop and the place is still a mess I love it. We're a Decatur address but actually only a mile or so from Greenwood. The best part about the move is not having to go to Denton. Thanks for the tip on the restaurant, I love me some good Mexican food!

Not the prettiest job but it was my first time. Got my hats and rotors safety wired. My mufflers came in too. Can't wait to hear these bad boys
