tailgate binding.. hinge pics
i bought a box without a tailgate on it for my 1987 cucv.. when put my old tailgate on it and tried to close it it binds up on the passenger hinge... does any of this look irregular?

is the hinge on the box the correct peice? when i sit the cup on that flat sided hinge pin it binds as i close the tailgate big time.

never paid much attention to my tailgate I will take a quick look early tomorrow and tell you what i see.

Doesn't look right to me the mount on the bed should be round.

There are 2 different hinge configurations that i know of, and the brackets are slightly different sizes.
I am running a 70s tailgate on an 80s box and it took some shoving to get it to seat properly the first few times. Posted via Mobile Device
