A big thank you to TBone64 - Top Man

Just wanted to thank TBone for supplying me with a Deluxe gauge cluster for renovation.

Well actually I bought it to renovate it but upon unboxing it last night I was absolutely amazed at the quality of the piece he sent me.

So, I can vouch for TBone and thank you very much. Top Man.

Its a SUN pro Tach which I purchased from Summit - think it was about $125.

Slightly miffed as I gave away a 6K 1/4 sweep original Sun gauge about 10 months ago...

Sun pro does a lot of vintage looking gauges. Clean cluster, are those original miles on it?

Must be original miles for the truck it came from!

I am going to wind it back to zero during the retrofit of the tach etc.

Tom from classic instruments is a great guy and builds an awesome instrument cluster. They look so clean and new. Its a nice treat to send him your cluster and have it come back nicer than new.

Hi Paul,

I am glad you are happy with the cluster. The Sun Pro tach is going to be a very nice addition. I have done one of those retrofits in the past and when finished, it will look like a factory 8K tach.

I would love to see photos of it finished. I like to provide you all with a good start point. Some of these old clusters are beyond help .

Jon, thank you for your kind words as well.

Have a good weekend,
Tom
