1956 Chevy Panel Truck

Got this with 2 other trucks. Im not big on panels at all, seems they are real hit or miss with people.

This one is in decent shape i guess, was daily driven until 1998 when it was hit in front right corner i was told. I think it could be fixed somewhat easily.

Are these dash boards worth alot of money if they are uncut or something? I just got into the 55-59 trucks, so i have no idea if its worth more than the whole truck or what.

I have one guy locally that is intrested in the truck and deals in parts for these year models, he has seen pics and keeps asking me about the dash. Even told me not to cut it out since i mentioned i thought about keeping it for my 56 pickup.

Re: 1956 Chevy Panel Truck

I have built 5 panel/Burbs 55-59. The dashes are usually only cut at the radio and they sell a patch for that $25. The panel truck is only valuable if you DON'T cut it. Someone will buy what you have for $900-$1500 about. These are more rare than trucks by far.
