Re: Restored Vent Windows

I made a mistake and bought oer reproduction vent wing windows and they leak and have a ton of wind noise. Do your restored wing windows have alot of wind noise. I know these windows were never perfect but mine are terrible. Thanks

We're had great success rebuilding them so they do not leak air or whistle. We inspect our cores for issues at tear down and any questionable pieces are discarded. The weatherstripping we use is the best I could find which results any a perfect fit. Over the year I have not received any negative feedback, just ask the members that have purchased them. I really believe you would like a set that I restore.

Sounds like you offer an excellent product. I'll keep that in mind as I progress in my restoration.

I've been using UPS. Usual runs $20.00-$30.00.

I just got back 2 sets from the chrome plater. I can do a set using your glass. Who did you buy from. I've found that some glass will not fit correctly.

I can restore your’s if they are rebuild able.

Let me know.

Re: Restored Vent Windows

I ordered new glass from a local shop with the intent on polishing my originals but they just aren't quite as nice as I'd like. Would you ship a set without glass? They are the only thing I need to be able to drag it to the glass shop.

Yes I can do that. The glass fram will not be installed. I will include a pair of pivot rivets as well as the set tape to install the glass. Price without shipping will be $470.00. Whats your address so I can calculate shipping?

Re: Restored Vent Windows

I've had to increase my price to $525.00 due to the cost of chrome platting going up.

Re: Restored Vent Windows

Hi Roger,
I have a nice set of vent windows i would like a price on redoing them, they are chrome. I would like them all black with a tinted glass. My guess is you do powder on the chrome; I am not sure weather to do gloss or semi gloss on the black, do you have a recommendation? Anyway can you please give me a price?Thank you!!
