Leaf springs/lift...

Okay, just a little background. When I bought my 79 4WD K5 the previous owner had already installed new rear lift springs and add a leaf in the front. Well, after noticing some tire rub after install my 33x12.5x15's on the right, but not the left, I started measuring to find the passenger side of the truck sits almost 1.5" lower than the driver side.

Well, I picked up a '73 parts K5 a few months ago, and snagged the passenger side spring pack. However, yesterday I found they are different. The 73 is slightly narrower, and has even less arch.

My front springs both look pretty worn and wavey. So, thinking about springing for new springs. Just looking for opinions. Right now I'm thinking Skyjacker 2.5" lift from Summit:

I will also be adding a set of 2" blocks to the rear, just because I want a slight bit of rake when unloaded.

Thoughts/opinions/suggestions???

thanks!

Re: Leaf springs/lift...

Anyone familiar with Pro Comp or Superlift springs. They are both cheaper, and cheaper is better. Especially for something I wasn't planning on a truck I don't drive a lot...
