It's hit or miss with the quality of the baffling foam, or dislodged particles created during production/installation waiting to be carried off by fluid. I have worked on many drag cars that had fuel delivery failures from foam particles clogging the pump and/or regulator(s). I just didn't take the risk and removed the foam from my fuel cell in my Super Gas drag car. If you keep the foam, run a good filter that is easily inspected and cleaned or element replaced between the fuel pick up of the cell and the pump. Is the 10AN fitting the fuel pick ups, or the vent and return ports?
