Survey for small to medium-sized businesses

Hey y'all,
I know there's a few small to medium-sized business owners here on the forum, so I asked Liz if I could post a link to a survey I am helping with. She approved, so the following is what I've been sending out to businesses via email. I figured this would be another way to hopefully reach some other businesses.
Thanks!

Hello,

My name is Christian Carpenter, and I am a graduate student at Georgia College & State University. I am assisting Jehan El-Jourbagy and Nicholas Creel with their research project "The Legal Landscape of Intentional and Negligent Transmission Laws in the United States in the Wake of COVID-19 Corporate Liability Shields.”

Research is being conducted through a survey that collects information and perspectives on how small to medium-sized business owners perceive liability in the workplace.

Your participation is voluntary, and you can withdrawal your consent to participate at any time. Your information is confidential, and your name will not be connected to your data.

If you desire to participate, please open the link below that will take you to the Google form titled “Pandemic-Related Business Liability Survey.” This form includes detailed instructions on completing the survey.

The time to complete the survey is between 5 and 10 minutes.

Pandemic-Related Business Liability Survey

Thank you for your time,

Christian Carpenter

Bob,

Thank you for bringing this to my attention. I will let my professor know about it and update on what she says.

Thank you,
Christian

Edit to update: Professor El-Jourbagy fixed the issue. She created the survey and tasked me with getting some responses. Thank you for your interest in the survey!

Re: Survey for small to medium-sized businesses

We are still looking for more responses. If any of you could spare a few minutes out of your busy schedule, that would help us out a lot.

Thank you!

Re: Survey for small to medium-sized businesses

So is this survey here to see if your business complies with the 'mandates' or not? If you don't comply with them, you now have a name of a small business that does not, so it will be ultimately targeted?

kwmech,

That is not the intention or purpose of this survey. We are utilizing this survey to get a better understanding of how small to medium sized business owners perceive liability in their workplace, not to ultimately punish businesses for their choices on how to operate their business.

If you would like to reach out to the professors conducting the survey, their emails are listed at the top of the survey linked in my first post.

Thank you,
Christian
