Re: '67-'72 Power Brake Booster Bracket With Hydraulic Clutch Conversion

The total cost for one '67-'72 hydraulic clutch conversion with just the base plate and in bare steel with shipping is $191.85.

The linkage assembly is designed to work with a clutch master with a 1.4" stroke. You will have to install some sort of clutch pedal stop to keep from bottoming out the clutch master since is has a shorter stroke.

I love your linkage mechanics and would much rather have something that clean, but I already have my brake setup done and already purchased that master cylinder for my t56 setup, i think that master has a 1.1 stroke?

I see that you're on vacation, have fun! When you get back I would be interested in this kit as well, without the brake booster bracket.

Can a different style wildwood MC be used? I don't really like that the line has to be run out of the back on top? So I have to go up and loop the line down?

I also have to ask... why is the 67-72 clutch pedal linkage so complex, but when I click on your 60-66 link it's just this:

I mean, I can do that easily.

Depending on what bore size of master you need, a different style of clutch master may add to the cost.

That picture is of the original linkage that I started with. It did not allow full pedal travel and is no longer used in any of my hydraulic clutch convetsions.

Gotcha!

I'm installing a 2001 4.3L S10 NV3500 in my 67 C10, the trans has the internal slave. I've seen several people us this one: 70174-750? But if that won't work with your pedal, that's OK. I want the best combo that will work. That MC bowl looks tiny... is there enough fluid to push the slave cylinder that I need it to?

Re: '67-'72 Power Brake Booster Bracket With Hydraulic Clutch Conversion

I don"t have good enough wi-if right now here in Fredrickstad, Norway to look up that part number. I have not had any complaints with the clutch masters that I typically supply. I believe that internal slave needs a .700 bore master. I will have to verify that later.
