57 hood bolts
any one know where I can get new hood bolts for my 57? I need the bolts that hold the hood to the hinge.if any one has pictures of there bolts and the size that whould help to.

did you try home depot?
for size, thread a bolt in it and buy that one

Same bolts that bolt the inner fenders to the fenders. 5/16 18tpi, 3/4 inch long. It's also the same bolts that are used to mount the hood latch panel. Hardware store bolts with washers would be fine and my local Ace Hardware even sells the original style bolts.

thanks for all the help.did not want to go to home depot and use a hardware store bolts and washers for my hood,was looking for original style bolts.
