1960 hood emblem V8 or 6cyl.

Does any one know which is the original hood emblem that goes on the 60 apache 10. I had a guy tell me today that it depends on if it has a V8 or 6cyl. He said that the 6cyl had just a chevy emblem. The V8 had a chevy emblem with a V under it. I allways thought that the emblem with the V under it was for the 61 and just the chevy emblem was for the 60.

Any info on this would gladly be appreciated.

Thanks

1960 Apache 10

My 1960 Apache 10 has a red Chevy bow tie emblem on the hood I believe all the '60s are the same.
