Front end sway bar?
I know it's stock for 72 but the PO installed it. I guess to help the front end wobble. Has anyone put one on? and did it work?

Looks like a factory set up from a newer square body truck. Pretty common handling upgrade on these. The setup gets sold from time to time in the parts section for this exact purpose.
I am assuming you meant to say it isn't stock.

I put one of these setups on my 72 jimmy. Have not got it on the road yet but the intallation was pretty straight foward. Check out this thread: http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...way+bar&page=5 My setup is in Post 119
