Bill, just wondering if you got your motor mount and header issues resolved.

Bill,
Things are OK. I need to get a new roof soon, and my wife has me trying to fix things up before my daughters birthday on the 24th. I may try and go on Saturday to the show. My anniversary is the 20th, not sure how much freedom I'll have around then

Bill, what did you have to do to get header clearance? Was it frame issues? Do you have pics of how they clear now and what kind of room you have? I ordered my headers yesterday (Hookers) and want to be prepared for any problems I might run into.

Thanks in advance....

Pont:
The only issue I had was a bad motor mount on one side ,was able to get the headers on ok but was touching the frame with the first tube ,I could see the mount was the problem .Replaced it got plenty of room.

Good luck .FYI Start WD 40 ing your exaust manifold bolts now ,I started 3 days ahead and was lucky all bolts came out ok.

will do on the WD40. I'm guessing that your bad motor mount and first tube touching was on the drivers side. My stock exhaust manifolds are closer to the crossmember on the drivers side. I'm thinking it's going to be tightest on about tube #3 on the passenger side at the from. Previous owner already notched the passenger side frame for manifold clearance. I'll take pics when it in for other who may want to see what clearance is available with a BB.
