$10 radio "system"

Ok, laugh if you want, but a lot of people are surprised to find that I don't have a real "system". It sounds good!!! and it only cost me $10. I got all the speakers free, two are from an aiwa home CD player and the other ones are Nikko or something like that. I got the radio for $10 from a friend with a junkyard in his front yard.

I did have an $80 VR3 deck from Target in there, until I put the new motor in and forgot to hook up that little ground to the voltage regulator. I got a little ways down the road and the radio shut off and the tach started smoking (I'm serious), I looked down at my voltage guage and it was maxxed out at 18volts!!!!!

The $10 radio works just as good except the VR3 had a USB slot on it, the USB was sooo much better than the CD's because I had a 2gig drive with 500 songs on it!!!!

works good execept you can't slide the seat back all the way. I'm 5' 10" and the seat sits about right for me. if you are a little taller it might be uncomfortable.

Re: $10 radio "system"

OK, just so everybody dosen't think I'm crazy. this is a temporary setup!!! it works good, but I'm gonna replace the deck with a Custom Autosound USA-630 when I come up with the money!! http://www.casmfg.com/

but first on the list is

front end alignment
3.73 gears and LSD
Air conditioning/serpentine belt system
Paint
etc......
