stick to auto changover

i have a 70 blazer with 350/4spd and would like to change to automatic. i also have a 77' 4x4 suburban with 400/auto. will i be able to use the 77' to change 70' to automatic. i am getting ready to put a different motor in the 70' and would rather have automatic if i can use the parts i already have. thanks

Re: stick to auto changover

should be a very straight forward swap considering you have 2 complete vehicles. youll need a auto column/linkage or floor shifter maybe an external trans cooler depending on what equipment is currently in your blazer, driveshaft work etc.
