ok lets say I wanted to do the same thing to my C10 my plan was to pull everything out of the truck from fan to tailshaft..the uPull it yard here sell all there engine/trans combos for the same $$ ( STUPID CHEAP) 20 buck for the harness and 20 for the cpu....what are you guys deleteing to need to have the cpu retuned??

and the BIG??? is what do these engines come in ....I'm looking at all options for a heart trans plant to up grade my 327 auto truck...saw this post and thought I would ask about these motors

I know you can find a lot of 8.1/4L80E combos in the 01-05 3/4 ton suburbans. I found an 8.1/Allison 1000 complete chassis from an 05 HD crew cab with only 70,000miles for 3K in Salt Lake.
