I save my pics to my computer in a file. When I want to post a pic in a thread, I click the 'Manage Attachments' button (in the options box below when you're posting).

Once you click that button & go to that 'Manage Attachments' screen, you get a pop-up for inserting your pic. I click Browse, find the file & pic on my computer, select the pic to save to the attachments box, upload the pic, & then preview my post to make sure I like what I see.

Pics need to be a certain size. If they're too large, the site can't host them.
