Re: does this look ok?

I got to say that may be a sweet deal.Just remember the fuel usage is horrible in the city.I had one that got about 9mpg in town but would do almost twice that on the hiway. They haul 6 nicely and up to 8 friendly folk. There is room in the trunk for up to 4 adult bodies (maybe more)if you pack them tight or they are really friendly(don't ask but I did verify)that is if you only carry a 48 quart cooler in there.Mega power stereo's and home unit speakers are easily fitted with room left for more than 2 adults.Tires tend to be somewhat expensive. The ride is above average and the front seat feels like a living room sofa. The only thing I ever drove that rode better was a 59 Caddilac Hearse(the last ride truly is the smoothest).I gave about that for the one I had but that was in 82.Suprisingly strong performance for a car that heavy from that era.Did I mention milage stand on it and watch the fuel guage drop like a sinking rock. All in all it was a nice cruiser. The only downside to it was my GF at the time commented when she first saw it that it looked like "A Pimp's Dream" It had curb feelers wire hubcaps and small splash aprons. Unfortunately that name stuck because several of my buddies were there when it happened.

BTW Thanks for the memories.

Re: does this look ok?

I'm looking at it and thinking " another 472 motor to stash under my work bench". the rest looks like scrap metal unless I sell it to someone who would want it.

Re: does this look ok?

I can't get the link to the pictures to work.
Show up with 5 $100 bills and it would probably be yours. You could easily take the whole family to the Black Hills in style!!
