From rough measurements standard 127 wheel base
Frame looks the same shape as my cut c10 frame

Since it's a Canadian truck, you can get the history from GM of Canada.

Re: 71 gmc 1/2 cab and chassis frame difference

What interested me I never seen a c10 as a cab and chassis model and until I crawled over it a few time with a tape measure and my crutches

I was not sure if the bed deck area would be the same for a pick up box knowing some c30 cab and chassis models have a longer frame then a standard pickup

going to donate is frame for rebuilding my 68 gmc back into a half ton 2x4 been on a 4x4 since about 92

I know it used to be 50 cad for getting gm Canada documents not sure if they still do that
I do know my 68 was 1/2 with hd springs 292 3ott no ps no pb radio delete lighter delete I don't remember where those plates got tossed when I put a kenwood deck in it

Re: 71 gmc 1/2 cab and chassis frame difference

What makes you think it’s a cab and chassis?
By the looks of the back side of the cab corners,... I’d say that cab has been off the frame.
Maybe that cab was swapped to that frame?

I guess I don’t see anything different than a LWB 1/2-ton chassis.

Didn't all cab & chassis trucks have leaf springs?

I see bed mounts. I don't think it was bed & chassis
