fuel tanks issues

Ok, so here it goes. i know there are a lot after market guys out there with aluminum tanks out there for LSX swaps. My main question is about an 89 blazer tank. From what Im reading with it hanging so low i would have issues with my truck. Right now i have a 5.5/7 static drop but Im swapping to porterbuilt stage two later down the road. Im worried that i drag it or worse. I cant believe that everyone has aluminum tanks in their slammed truck. Can anyone please help me out.

What year truck are you working on? I personally wouldn't use the Blazer tank. I used a 53-54 Chevy passenger car tank in my 65, it's barely visible.

Re: fuel tanks issues

I have looked at the 87 up blazer tank... without removing a couple of main rear cross members it wont fit.

Tanks inc offers it in 16 and 18 gallon versions with baffles. It comes with an opening for a Walbro type pump.
