Glad you guys got it back up & running, hopefully with no damage to speak of. I agree, a video/sound clip would be nice!

We've been looking for a first gen for a long time and while not a barn find, per se, this one has been in the same family w/ 3 different owners from 67 till 91 when it was parked with a blown AC compressor...been sitting for the last 23 years! Supposedly under a tarp most of that time, last year or two not though. It'll be out of the weather from here on out though!
We're psyched, gonna build this out for the wife to enjoy.

Re: Our "What are we going to do?" 66 Suburban Build

Nice score on the Camaro

It looks to be in fairly good shape.....at least body wise.

It's hard to believe that they can still be found in that condition.

Yea, body is in really good shape with a bit of through rust in the trunk pan...going to replace it, but that's all!

The 327 got pulled years ago and sat outside in the elements (complete but rough)...haven't decided if we're going to rebuild it or go another route.

My son checked in on this Mon., having remembered it sitting in a back yard from his HS lawn mowing days...the $$ asked were attractive enough that we immediately struck a deal and were able to bring it home yesterday.
