Re: Installing a Radio Head Unit?

moving this to the audio forum.
You may want to list exactly what kind/type of system you are installing, and if you have the brand and/or model, then the guys there could prrobably give you a step by step post.

Re: Installing a Radio Head Unit?

I don't know the colors of the wires but you will need to find the acc., ign., and ground. The ground can be put anywhere using a ring terminal and some clean bare metal.

The wires from the deck should be labeled.

Re: Installing a Radio Head Unit?

Yes, that's your constant 12v source.

Re: Installing a Radio Head Unit?

aggieguy... check out my build thread as I did a similar install earlier this year in my '69. IIRC, I posted the wire color and the terminals I used to hook everything up on my Kenwood headunit. Good luck with the install!
